FAQs

How many weddings do you film each year?

I try to limit my annual weddings to a maximum of 12 film collections each year. This allows me the ability to exclusively care for each of my couples, giving you the energy and attention required for each project. Pre-production planning, wedding day directing, and post-production editing are 3 very different forms of art, and I pride myself in focusing on each form every time.

Are you insured?

Yes.

I’ve never been professionally recorded on video, and I don’t want to embarrass myself on camera – can I let you know what not to include in the final film?

Of course! While recording, you can let me know what you would rather not have in your final film. Usually, I will ask this question beforehand.

At the end of the day, I will never ask you to do something you don’t want to do.

Are the hours booked consecutive or can we break them up over the day?

All my filmmaking coverage is in consecutive hours.

Is it you that films our day, or do you send out other videographers?

It will be me and a hand-picked assistant. I’m proud of the art you and I create together, and I believe it requires specific directing and cinematography skills to produce the films you see featured online.

Do you charge tax?

Yes, I charge applicable taxes based on your location.

What do your past couples say about your films?

What payment methods do you accept?

I currently accept all major credit cards, Interac e-transfer, or cash (if accessible in person).

Do you offer photography as well?

Yes I do, only by specific request. To give you my all, I do not offer both wedding photography and film at the same time.

When will we receive our wedding films?

Your film is guaranteed within 6 months of your wedding day. Though I do have an option to enhance your production to include expedited delivery.
