Is It Worth It To Get Raw Wedding Video Footage?
Short Answer: If you cherish your friends and family, yes.
The Raw Footage I offer are all the clips captured on your wedding day in their original form. Unedited, often named with weird numbers, and all placed in a 1TB hard drive organized by camera.
Now, the reason I offer this isn't necessarily for you to comfortably watch on Friday night. No.
Raw Footage is for the couple and their family who want to see all their family and friends living in the moment. Living as if no one’s watching. No editing, and no curating – just your friend/family member going about their day.
Why is this important to have?
Let me tell you a quick story:
I was once shooting in a beautiful home, right on the lake with a beautiful lawn, artistically furnished, and filled with such a tight-knit and loving family. (Okay, they were Italian and Greek, so they were on the louder side to each other – but nonetheless very loving).
I remember shooting the bride's dad putting on her necklace and smiling with a teary eye, because he knew that on this day, his daughter was no longer just a daughter, but a wife. A few minutes later, she was coming down from her bedroom for all her family to see.
In the middle of all her closest family and friends was grandma – her Yiayia. Her father’s mother, crying as she saw her beautiful granddaughter in her wedding dress. I'll never forget her tears.
A few months later, I see one of my images on Facebook. It was of the bride’s father, the dad who gracefully put on her daughter’s necklace, with a caption saying he passed away in his sleep.
Then a few weeks after that, that bride's Yiayia passed away too, joining her son.
And that hit me.
I was so saddened for this close family, and I was also so incredibly honoured to be one of the last people to professionally capture their essence on camera.
As much as an edited film or photographs can bring you back in time, Raw Footage helps bring the past to the present.
For those looking to have an archive of the people closest to you, living completely in the moment with no filter, Raw Footage is truly priceless.

I'm a wedding filmmaker born-and-raised out of the gritty, charming, and sometimes wholesome city of Hamilton, Ontario. For the past 5 years, I've been shooting events and weddings professionally, and travelling for destination work in places I still can't believe.
From Mexico, to Antigua, to The Philippines. I've also worked and learned from behind the camera as close as Alberta and Quebec, Canada, and as far away as Italy and the United Kingdom.
I've realized that the most impactful films are those that spring out of an understanding of human love. For me, this is much more than a weekend side job – it is my entire life. Learning and spreading the many definitions of love from all over the globe and doing it in engaging film teasers and timeless full wedding films.
